Cookie Policy

In short: essential cookies keep you signed in. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta cookies are used only if you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Firstcliq, operated by Lenawa Solutions LLC-FZ, uses cookies and similar technologies on firstcliq.io: a few essential ones to sign you in and remember your settings, and — only if you agree — analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand the site and measure our ads.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Browser storage (such as local storage) is a similar technology that keeps information on your device without sending it to the server on every visit.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser or your session ends.
Persistent cookies and storage stay until they expire or you delete them.
First-party cookies are set by firstcliq.io. Third-party cookies are set by other services.

3. Cookies and storage we use

Essential (always on)

The service cannot sign you in or remember your settings without these, so they do not need your consent under the EU ePrivacy rules and cannot be switched off while you use the service.

Analytics and marketing (only with your consent)

These are set only after you choose “Accept all”, or switch on the matching category under “Choose”, in our cookie banner. Until then the Google and Meta tags are not loaded at all. You can accept analytics without marketing, or neither.

We do not use these cookies on the customer review pages we host for businesses (firstcliq.io/reviews/…).

4. Third-party services

Some steps happen on other companies' pages, which set their own cookies under their own policies:

Google — when you sign in with Google or connect your Business Profile, on Google's pages. Google cookie policy
Stripe — when you pay, on Stripe's checkout page, including for fraud prevention. Stripe cookie policy

With your consent, Google and Meta receive information about your visit through the cookies above, under their own policies: How Google uses information from sites that use its services and Meta Privacy Policy.

We also use Sentry to record technical errors so we can fix them. It is configured on our side and does not set advertising cookies.

5. Managing cookies

Change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops the optional cookies from being used from then on; it does not affect what happened before.

Deleting the sign-in cookie signs you out. Blocking it stops you signing in.

6. Cookies and personal data

The sign-in cookie identifies your account session, and the analytics and marketing cookies identify your browser, so they are personal data. They are processed under our Privacy Policy, and your rights under the GDPR and the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data apply.

7. Children

Firstcliq is a service for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly use cookies to collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again before setting new ones.
